I'm the one they call when stuff gets real. Framer sliced a beam? I verify the fix in the field or send the replacement. HVAC doesn't fit? We now do courtesy cuts to help with that. Basically, I'm the go-to that makes sure projects meet codes and floors don't sagg. But a push over I am not. I believe in being cost effective and efficient with design; And that means customers have to stick to plan. Helping them accomplish this often means email review to verify truth. And requires communication throughout the whole team including customers, salesman, saw, pricing and management. I've had some great managerial role models throughout my six years in this career; and am now striving to step into that role for my current and future team.
