The Community Diversion Team position involves being Co-Deployed with a Law Enforcment officer. Co-deployed responds to all patrol calls that come through the 911 and Crime check system, and provide assistance when appropriate to do so. This teams goal is to provide diversion from hospitals and jail, reduce recidivism, and get people connected to the appropriate services, resources and support that they need.
