Over the last year and a half I’ve had the pleasure of working with an amazing Creative Director to produce assets across 7 different cannabis brands under Canadian LP, Ascent Industries. As a team of two, we worked closely with our compliance department in designing Canadian and US packaging; I was also a key part of the web development team leading all WordPress design and development; I supported all WooCommerce development with digital graphic design, produced all print advertising, product catalogs and sell-sheets; I designed and created tradeshow elements such as booths and signage and supported all social media community management and digital marketing automation. Unfortunately Ascent wasn’t able to qualify for its final sales license, so I am now seeking new opportunities.Beginning in 2002, I spent five years working as a graphic designer and signmaker before taking a time-out to start a family in 2007. I picked up my first digital SLR camera in October 2008, just before the birth of our second child. With the inspiration of my family and the beauty of my adopted home in Ireland, I found a love for photography. After traveling around Europe and also living in England for s spin, I returned home to BC in 2014.Over my career in graphic design I’ve worked with clients from small businesses to large enterprises producing brands, identities, projects and campaigns across most forms of digital and print media. I’ve assessed needs and wishes, advised on style options, developed iterations; created identities, logos, business cards, flyers, brochures and websites; photographed, designed and produced product catalogs, posters and display ads; designed signage and ran large format solvent printers, plotters and inkjets; I have a tonne of experience in everything outside of video games and film.
