Howden Power, Mpumalanga, South Africa; I was responsible for the delivery of all copies of approved drawings, scope of work, and bar chart documentation on the various power stations.My duties involved conducting the inspection and test plan, once the task had been completed by welder.I assumed the responsibility of quality control, ensured system procedures, and effectively controlled the quality plan. In addition to delivering high quality outcomes to our main client Eskom Power, I was responsible for staff training and motivation.Areas of accountability included release cycles, the control of subcontracted work quality, warranty system reporting, and audits and inspection

Tasks included the repair of all defects on the Howden Fan Impeller. I fitted and removed all liners on the fans, supervised employees, and inspected fans on the power stations. In addition to conducting ultrasonic testing and X-rays on all work, I was required to complete data sheets.My duties involved the welding of all pipes, and specialized welding on air heaters and fans.I was responsible for the boiler making of all casings, the reading of drawings, and the inspection of suppliers' equipment.

My portfolio included general welding, steam pipe welding, the measuring of materials, and free hand gas cutting. I was responsible for profile drawings and profile cutting, plasma cutting, and the setting, cutting and punching of steel with cropper.I was required to cut with the guillotine, bend and roll plates, and handle the general fabrication of components and the welding thereof. In addition I was responsible for the reading of drawings.

Tasks included the welding and manufacturing of trailers. I was responsible for the fitting of spares on trailers, the reading of drawings, and grinding.
