I’m always asking myself the question: How can I help? I like to sense problems, design solutions and help the organisation become more efficient and effective. My dad was an entrepreneur and scientist. I learned a lot from him and I developed a strong entrepreneurial spirit. In my roles at Cubic as a Bid Manager and at StepStone as a Client Strategist, an entrepreneurial mindset has always been playing a very important role. I’ve been working with department managers, C-Level managers and VPs of Sales & Marketing. I enjoy working in an international environment and very much enjoyed working for Cubic in London for 4 years.Because of my interest in how businesses and economies work, I developed a passion for the stock market. After work I enjoy reading blogs about investing and I analyse businesses based on a value-oriented investment approach. I learned that if you are really passionate about something, you study your own experiences, learn from your mistakes and evolve to become better. One of my other hobbies is sailing. Sailing has helped me to stay even-tempered during stressful moments. It also has helped me to take rational decisions and solve challenging situations.In 1995 only 1.8% of the Germans had access to the Internet and my parents were one of them. I began to use the Internet for my school projects and later I even ran a local website with a friend in Potsdam. Therefore, I’m excited to work for one of the largest and most successful Internet tech companies in Germany and help people find a job they love.
