As a Full Stack Developer at GamePoint, I take responsibility for the following:- Creating and maintaining tools that are used daily by (mainly) our QA, Marketing, BI, CM and Support departments.- Overseeing deployment. Our development and deployment street has it's own set of challenges, mainly due to the many different platforms and devices that we run our games on. Due to this, deployment is sometimes quite a delicate task that requires a careful approach and good communication. - Implementing new features, updating existing features and everything in between.- Supervising WebDevelopment interns to give them a fun and challenging internship filled with knowledge and challenges that they can use in their further career. Whilst supervising, I'm responsible for their project, the direction and the architecture of it. In the initial stages of their internship I'm also responsible for dividing the tasks and planning the project. Maintaining the freedom to figure things out for themselves whilst ensuring a healthy flow of progression is the key balance to strike.

As Developer at PDC I'm responsible for a variety of tasks, though the emphasis is mostly on the following:- Visualizing large amounts of uniquely structured data in various ways, think modules to generate bar-graphs, timelines, pie-charts and Venn-diagrams. We store our data in a very unique way, which means that standard solutions do not fully apply and handmade solutions are required. Creative integration with external libraries to soften the workload was the big challenge here. - Assisting our web-editors by automating as many repetitive or redundant tasks as possible. This also included creating and maintaining innovative ways to enable editors to get their job done much more effectively and with less/no future maintenance required. - Implementing, improving or completely redesigning websites, web services and our own intranet. I was closely involved in the redesign of www.eerstekamer.nl, www.staten-generaal.nl and www.europapoort.nl. - Improving our daily used intranet systems and tools. This included interviewing my coworkers, documenting and prioritizing requirements and creating a plan to address these requirements.

In this graduation internship I was solely focused on my graduation assignment in which I was entrusted the task of creating an application that corrects documents. These documents were converted from physical to digital by OCR-software. In this process, the software was not able to guarantee a 100% conversion. Imagine a coffee stain on the physical document - The digital text would end up jumbled.My job was to correct these documents by analysing the errors, researching potential strategies and implementing these strategies within the existing technical infrastructure of the company. Due to the large amount of documents to be processed, the emphasis was on a abstract, general solution instead of a ''hard fix''. I completed the graduation project with a solid 7.8 out of a potential 10 points!I extended my internship with PDC for an additional two months, in which I was given a variety of tasks. Most of these tasks boiled down to improving our current products in some way, or enhancing the way we gather and structure the data that eventually gets used in our products.

During my employment at Green Valley I've been deployed for anything that needs to be done. A few of my tasks included: - Fixing issues for our customers through our issue management system. (JIRA)- Creating new features and maintaining/monitoring present ones.- Maintaining contact with said customers - Updating the entire CMS to a new version, or migrating/branching/replicating current versions

During my employment at Seneca I've obtained alot of work experience. There were a few projects I was a part of: - Converting a structured data file that contains IP-ranges into an application that translates IP-addresses into country- and city names.- Configuring new websites based on our CMS and adding new features and modules upon these- Custom changes to our CMS based on different customer concerns
