Leading access to the labour market for hundreds of job seekers through a multifaceted and holistic approach with wraparound services to best meet the needs of our clients. Facilitating employer connections with the right candidates and supporting access for clients to upskilling and reskilling programs to meet the needs of the local labour force.

Hybrid advising role in the Academic and Career Centre and Faculty of Business. Advising students on diverse issues impacting student success and retention from a holistic and anti-oppressive framework. I helped academically at risk students with identifying and clarifying learning issues, career goals. and program choice as well as navigate the college system, policies and access services. Career Counselling and Assessments including MBTI and Lead for D.I.C.E. (Disability Impact on Career and Employment) Advising Services team member, Transition to Work for People with Disabilities CommitteeCo-coordinated 3 college wide multi speaker and exhibitor events to support students and job seekers in the community with knowledge and resources to transition into the workforce.

As an Employment Advisor in this Community based, Employment Ontario funded program, I supported a diverse clientele in all aspects of job search and career development. This included assessing and identifying employment goals according to strengths and skills and providing options for training. Coaching and mentoring clients through job search, transitions and career changes.

Solicited new business from local employers and managed relationships with existing hiring managers to promote job matching and broker incentivized placements for Employment Ontario clients, This included job trials, training, obtaining accommodations and job coaching.

Oversaw the self serve employment services resource centre, providing information to clients on a variety of job search, career development and training resources.

Key Admissions Officer involved in the early stages of growth of a private vocational school launched by The Elmwood Group (Elmwood Spa, Elmwood, Bangkok Garden) to meet the growing demands of the Spa and Beauty Industry. Provided job search assistance and employment resources for graduates and alumni.Created email marketing campaigns and designed interactive spa industry workshops to attract new students.
