I am a native New Mexican, born and raised  in Albuquerque and very much enjoy this city and all of the diversity it brings out in everyone. I aim to support local businesses on everything from attending farmers markets to local restaurants and shops to taste fresh items while supporting my community at the very least. I enjoy volunteering for many causes including JDRF and The American Heart Association. I have been a volunteer team manager for 4 years with the American Heart Association in which I have organized many activities to raise funds for research to educate people on prevention.  The activities include arranging a raffle drawing which required working with many vendors to gain items to raffle; including a hot air balloon ride, designing a team logo and getting them onto T shirts for the team. Our team pictures in our shirts have been posted on the AHA website and have been talked about at walks in many other states. Other tasks include posting on social media team page to ensure all information about the events have been communicated to team membersBeing a self starter and  fast learner has allowed me to adapt to new situations quickly and understand what it takes to complete tasks within a deadline. With the training that I have received over my tenure; I have enhanced my decision making skills, and have the ability to handle difficult situations in a responsible manner. In addition to having exceptional organizational skills, I thoroughly enjoy helping people in a customer service atmosphere. I am confident in my abilities to work with detailed confidential data, and posses the capability to present material in a professional and positive manner.
