Financial analyst engaged in modeling, valuation, and analysis of renewable energy infrastructure projects, specifically wind and solar utility-scale power plants, as well as battery storage.The role focuses on calculating equity returns, debt sizing & sculpting, optimizing financing structure, negotiation with lenders, hedging, PPA pricing, scenario analysis, LCOE calcs, and so on. On top of that, role implies a lot of ad-hoc modeling, analytical and research work, helping the management to make informed decisions and crate value for the developer/an equity investor (e.g. RES market demand projection, power prices reporting, competition analysis etc.). Formal education in financial management was inspired by my initial legal experience in project financing. I graduated with a Master in Financial Management from Vlerick Business School, a CFA-affiliated program (#1 in Belgium, #22 World, Financial Times MSc in Finance ranking). An academic exchange at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in Germany, which focused on renewable energy financing, enriched my studying experience.Through my work and education I had constant exposure to team work in a multicultural context, rapport building, client-facing roles as well as advising C-level management. Proficiency in and adapting to various technologies was a pre-requisite of all my roles (e.g. MS Excel, VBA, Bloomberg Terminal, LSEG Workspace, AI tools etc.)
