It has been my true joy to create this new foundation, devoted to catalyzing creative collaboration for a better world. We fund and promote healthy community projects such as Bay Area Peacekeepers Summer Sports Camp, Sharon Collins documentary about the people in Richmond who brave the high violence climate to create gardens, youth opportunity, training, and hope. We offer our services to community organizations and help to create campaigns for fundraising, as well as create partnerships between organizations that can help each other. Recently we introduced two Transformative Art Therapists to the Ryse Community Center in Richmond to offer a powerful art workshop called "The Power of You, The Art of Telling Your Story". We are a very young not for profit org and are looking to provide our programs and training to other more well established organizations in the future.

The production, editing and finalizing Community Empowerment about the housing crisis and the brave community of Richmond, CA, creating solutions for the recently homeless and the blighted neighborhoods. Recently screened at the Oakland International Film Festival.

I provide creative services, editorial, media education, and optimization strategies for large and small clients around the globe. My technical team has worked with me for over 10 years from different locations in the world. I was one of the first artists exploring the digital world. My firsts big exposure was at Merv Griffin Enterprises in 1983 using the Quantel Paintbox and Mirage. I have worked with many softwares and systems, following the Flint, Flame, Inferno, SGI until the MAC matured. Now I use a MAC Pro, Final Cut, After FX, Motion and the lovely CS4 Creative Suite. I produce commercials, music videos, documentaries and events. I work in the traditional way with final draft scripts, storyboards, and formal contracts. My camera is a work horse (Sony) and I have many cameras and professional multi-camera crews available to me. I work collaboratively with directors, musicians, sound designers, actors, writers, teachers and other production professionals.

I am spearheading the Unity Peace Film Project and I am the Unity Film Minister at Unity of Berkeley. I am still owner of Slade Digital, providing graphic, animation, editorial and film making services, as I have for the past 20 years. My current work is focused on bringing Expressions of Peace, Personal, Powerful and Heart to Heart, into media form.

I am working to create opportunity for media to be used to collaborate for a better world. Expressions of Peace is my TV show and I am the co-producer of the new documentary by producer Sharon Collins, Richmond Redemption. I am available to train companies that work for a better world how to use media to help present their mission and their work to make a difference. It is a golden time to flip the script and use the media for better communication and creative collaborations. I produced the International Painting Interactive in 1992 and was one of the very first computer artists, learning the Quantel Paintbox and Harry in the late 80's and migrating all the various configurations until now. And now I can edit on Final Cut and communicate with Twitter and Facebook in a few clicks and cuts. Now it is time to gather together to create a better world, face challenges and shifts, and provide new and sustainable opportunity for all of us.

I worked through the 90's with Robert and created the graphics package for shows like "The Infamous Dorothy Parker" for A&E and "The Power of Music" for The Discovery Channel. We were good collaborators. Sadly he passed away a few years ago.

I learned how to direct actors and how to be an actor. My experience with the Meisner Method Acting has helped me to direct plays, tv, and films. I love Baron Brown School!!

IPI was demonstrated at Chicago's SIGGRAPH '92, when a hundred painters, video artists, graphic designers, and musicians in fourteen cities around the world worked together for 44 hours, creating numerous digital paintings. IPI allowed visual artists to work synergistically with one another - an advantage that performance artists have always enjoyed. The additions of each artist appear on the screen of every other participant. Slade recruited David Cook and Cookware to create the interactive global brush based software to facilitate the visionary project.Slade explains that "visual artists, like musicians, can now jam together and express themselves in a collaborative spirit."Slade, who won an Emmy for graphic design in 1986, (for the opening of the new Love American Style), is currently working in the San Francisco Bay Area. Armed with a Masters in Education, Slade consults with organizations, schools and individuals to help them be more effective creative communicators.

This was my dream project to create a network of artists worldwide working together collaboratively. 20 years later, I am producing The Global Peace Quilt. CNN reported on my IPI project and called it a World Wide Digital Canvas. It was 1992!!! I developed with programer/developer David Cook and my partner John Peterson an interactive paint system for use around the world to make the IPI work. I worked with artist and educator Victoria Vesna to locate and connect over 140 artists to collaborate over something we then called "The Portal". This was way before the WWW peeps. My vision is still alive today!

Ken Weinstock and I collaborated on Titles for shows like The Kathy and Mo Show, Comedy Club Network, and I was his "go to" gal for all broadcast Main Title projects.

I am producer/director and executive producer for many film projects. Currently working on Richmond Redemption Documentary with Sharon Collins and Credit Card Rap with Gini Graham Scott. I have been the DP, editor, director and on air talent too. I have been teaching youth skills including editing, graphic design, art, script supervision, and more!

I was one of the very first Paint Box Artists working on television programs from 1983-1986. What a wonderful opportunity to use and explore how computer graphics enhance every project on TV.

I worked in the editorial arm of Merv Griffin Enterprises TAV and established some of the first 3D and 2D digital paint for broadcast opportunities training new artists and managing many projects including start ups like The Disney Channel, The Discovery Network, and many more. In 1986 I started my own graphics and animation company called "Paint Box Plus". I won an Emmy in 1986 with the Castle Bryant Design team for the opening of The New Love American Style.
