Formerly Evonik - Identified and implemented safety and environmental regulations for EPA, LDEQ , OSHA, Evonik and third party site owner policies as related to ESHQ in the PP site operations; Lead and organize initiatives between Operations, SCM, Engineering, and ESHQ Corporate to implement acceptable systems in order to ensure compliance and conformance to EHSQ Policies and Management Systems. Acted as primary contact for Evonik Fortier to external regulatory agencies (EPA, LDEQ, OSHA, DOT).

Managed the data collection, overseeing emission calculations, semi and annual reporting to authorities. Developed and established structured data collection and calculation to support Title V and HON F&G permit management and compliance. Maintained updated profiles for hazardous and nonhazardous wastes and maintained records for proper reporting. Updated and created work procedures for supervisory and associate-level employees. Assisted EHS manager in improvements of proper storage, handling and labeling of solid wastes to ensure compliance for RCRA regulations. Assisted and provided guidance to the site in the transition to Evonik-based processes and work methods.

Managed environmental compliance including reports to agencies and record keeping. Provided guidance for continual improvement of environmental programs and work practices. Worked to coordinate environmental operations within the Fortier complex and Evonik MMA plant.

Managed and supervised a team of up to 35 professionals with various specialties supporting environmental operations and compliance at 3 large military installations in Louisiana, Alabama, and North Carolina. In addition to the military work, managed office teams for large scale Community Development Block Grant environmental work in Mississippi including information technology personal and geographic information systems personnel.Key Projects Fort Rucker, Alabama, 2004 to 2014, Stehle managed a 17 person, multi-discipline team supporting the Environmental Compliance and Conservation Branches in hazardous waste, solid waste, air quality, pollution prevention, EMS, and natural resources conservation programs utilizing both on-site and off-site employees. He manages USACE coordination, cost, and scope, under the Mobile District. Cost 1.8M annually.Fort Bragg, North Carolina 2005 - 2009, Stehle managed a 22 person, multi-discipline team supporting the Environmental Compliance Management Branch. This work covered several program areas, including hazardous waste, solid waste, pollution prevention, air quality, asbestos, lead based paint, ozone depleting substances, environmental compliance assessments, spill response, environmental reports, and multiple management plans in addition to assisting the environmental branch chief in policy and regulatory interpretation. Managed USACE coordination, cost, scope, under both the Tulsa District and Mobile Districts. This project also included approximately $300,000 in annual material purchasing including items such as environmental support equipment to emergency response contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations. Mr. Harris managed all purchases and passed several audits during the project. Cost $2M annually.Fort Polk, Louisiana 2003 - 2004. Stehle managed a water system vulnerability assessment for anti-terrorism/ force protection and operational/mechanical vulnerabilities for three separate water systems.

Managed environmental operations and compliance for three catalyst manufacturing facilities in Louisiana. Worked with the safety and health team providing support for all safety and health programs. Participated in internal audit team in air, water, and waste for facilities in Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, and Florida. Position was focused on ensuring compliance with all state, federal, local and Alcoa corporate initiatives.

Served as task manager and specialist for military and industrial clients. Performed wastewater pilot testing; solid and hazardous waste management duties including sampling, characterization, profiling, and shipping of large quantities of waste; monitored well installation, soil and water sample collection and planning. Performed environmental field work and supervised field crews during RCRA facility investigations.

Oversaw the implementation of the Louisiana Coastal Wetlands Conservation plan which calls for No Net Loss of Wetlands. Worked with a team of permit analysts to evaluate permit applications for industrial, oil and gas, commercial, and private interests, involving evaluation and balancing highly controversial technical, environmental, and economic issues. Served as a team lead for the coast 2050 planning effort. Collaborated with a multi-agency planning staff providing technical assistance to landowners / operators, and units of both state and federal government in project planning, design, implementation, and management of various types of coastal restorations projects funded under the Coastal Wetlands, Planning, Protection, and Restoration Act of 1990 (PL101-646). Participated in large scale, interagency studies to determine the impact of development activities such as hurricane protection levees and freshwater diversions.
