Responsible for all support functions including Finance, IT, HR, Procurement and Communications. Sponsor for large, transformational, group wide ERP project.

Global responsibility for IS Infrastructure and Applications, in addition to enterprise wide systems/process change.

Responsible for a global business transformation program (OneSeadrill). The key objective of the program is to drive global standardization through common processes and systems, and covers all systems/applications used by HR, Finance, SCM, QHSE, Marketing and Operations. As part of this program, successfully implemented Oracle R12 for Finance, HR and Supply Chain during a 6 month period. Assumed responsibility for the IS/IT function August 2012, after an external review of OneSeadrill and IS/IT function had been performed by the company auditors. Developed an IS strategy and IS Transition plan for the upcoming move of Corporate office to London and Dubai.

Responsible for all Accounting & Controlling activities within Seadrill, including internal & external reporting and budgeting. Also, responsible for implementing SOX as part of the US Listing of Seadrill in 2010. Successfully re-structured and re-positioned the Corporate team during a period of fast growth and specific challenges such as business re-structuring and company/asset acquisitions.

Joined the company as one of the first members to establish Centrica Energi as an Upstream company in Norway. Responsible for all Accounting & Controlling, Tax, HR, Administration and Procurement activities. Successfully managed to build systems and processes and establish a strong team which supported the rest of the organization during a period of rapid growth (both organic and through M&A activities). Successfully managed the due-diligence and closing activities after large asset acquisition from Marathon Oil.

Responsible for Shell EP Europe statutory and group accounting and reporting in line with local and international accounting standards. Also responsible for Period End processes and Central Master Data team.

Responsible for planning, analysis and reporting/cost management of all exploration activities in Europe.

Responsible for all credit management activities in Shell Europe. Developed regional credit policy, procedures and tools and established a well functioning credit management team covering 28 countries. Also presented the European region in a global credit management forum.

Responsible for delivering finance services to the Commercial (B2B) teams in the Nordic cluster – including planning, analysis and reporting. Team consisted of Finance Managers and staff in each Nordic country.

Overall responsibility for the in-country finance function, including accounting, procurement, reporting, tax, business finance, economics and capital budgeting.

Team lead responsible for all finance systems, processes and competencies. Instrumental in driving change in the finance organization during SAP implementation. Team successfully managed to provide ongoing support and normal closing activities in legacy system whilst at the same time assuming SAP super users roles. Also represented Finance in the cross-functional IS steering committee.

Providing advise to oil products traders on all contract matters including commercial, financing, tax, insurance, risk management etc. In addition, responsible for developing and implementing a web-based global contract generation system.

Responsible for replacing legacy finance systems with SAP. The project was completed on time and within budget. Also represented finance in a special cross functional task force reviewing Shells longer term strategy in Norway.

Responsible for planning and reporting to local management, in addition to managing the development of a Corporate Planning and Reporting tool. The successful implementation of this tool lead to a large reduction in the number of people involved, and the time consumed, in preparing Corporate budget.

Various analysis and system work, in addition to preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports and analysis.
