I have recently retired from my position as Head of Financial Services Worldline and CEO of equensWorldline. Over the past 35 years, I´ve had the distinct privilege of driving significant transformations within the Financial Service Business sector, marked by accelerated national and international consolidation. I've held key leadership roles in 10 highly transformative mergers & acquisitions across Europe. This has provided me with substantial experience across a broad spectrum of tasks unique to Financial Services.My work has included setting up new business units, harmonizing and optimizing processes, managing large IT migrations and transformations, orchestrating and implementing strategic plans to amplify economies of scale and scope, drive revenue growth, and optimize costs. More than this, I've enjoyed bringing together people from different countries and cultures to build cohesive teams and a unified corporate identity.Above all, my experiences have reinforced my belief that despite the increasing digitization and IT-driven nature of our industry, the success of a business ultimately rests on its people.
