Sponsored an opportunistic 160-room hospitality investment, comprised of a 104-room full-service Historic hotel (not designated) and a 56-room limited-service hotel in Taos, New Mexico. - Repositioned the hotels through a strategic capital improvement plan, implementing institutional management practices, and streamlined operations, leading to higher guest satisfaction scores (TripAdvisor) and team morale. -Resulted in successfully growing occupancy 14%, increasing ADR by 22%, resulting in NOI growth in excess of 25% over the hold period. -Ultimately achieving a 30% increase in asset value upon sale, generating ~6.5x return for LP investors.

Strategic Asset & Portfolio Advisor-Oversaw and or advised client investments in a number of capacities, ranging from strategic asset and portfolio guidance, asset acquisitions diligence, asset management, lease negotiation, debt refinancing, partnership restructuring and development/expansion concepting and oversight.

Managed a national $150M+ portfolio consisting of 30+ commercial REO assets, totaling over 3M sq. ft., across virtually all asset classes including multi-family, retail, office, industrial, single family (PUD’s) along with residential and commercial land. -With total oversight (cradle to grave) from acquisition due diligence through disposition; crafted and implemented individual strategic asset plans, focusing on maximizing returns through aggressive leasing, ROI driven capital improvements and repositioning efforts, streamlining operations and delivering dramatically improved occupancy, cash flows and values upon disposition of over 20 assets valued in excess of $100M.

Co-managed entitlement and redevelopment of two regional shopping centers in San Diego with a redevelopment value in excess of $1B; successfully achieving entitlement approval on a $900M redevelopment of University Town Center (UTC). Led the on-site completion, tenant coordination and opening of a $115M Plaza Bonita expansion, simultaneously opening 46 new in-line shops totaling over 102k total sq. ft. as well as anchors Target, AMC and Borders Books.

Co-managed the entitlement and development of a portfolio of five mid and high-rise, mixed-use multi-family condo projects located throughout San Diego County, with an aggregate project value of $350M+. -Oversaw all project related matters from concept design and engineering, community and city processing, marketing, CC&R and HOA formation, to project close out, ground level leasing and unit sale.

Managed small-scale commercial construction projects, with experience in quantitative take-offs, project estimating, bid and contracts negotiations, interfaced with owners, vendors and government agencies.
