I'm a Business Partner and BIM Manager at Batteríið Arkitektar ehf. (e. Batteriid Architects) in Hafnarfjordur, Iceland. I graduated as a Constructing Architect B.Sc. (Bachelor of Architectural Technology and Construction Management) from Vitus Bering University College in Horsens, Denmark in January 2006 and received an Icelandic diploma as a Structure Design Engineer in December 2007. I've been working in the AEC industry ever since, both as a Constructing Architect in Architect firm's and for few years as an AEC Application/Solution Engineer and a CAD/BIM Instructor for Autodesk reseller company in Iceland. I still run my own, single worker company called Artstone slf. I founded back in 2016 (a Building Construction Design and Consultation company) where I can emphasize on smaller design projects and offer CAD/BIM consultation and teaching with main focus on Autodesk software's and BIM workflows. Through Artstone I manage for example a part-time teaching at the University of Iceland where I teach freshman year, Civil Engineering students how to use AutoCAD and Revit and corresponding workflows.
