Current•Lead the execution of discretionary and administrative projects and ensure operations are performed in compliance with established codes and requirements.•Work closely with technical consultants, Orange County Fire Authority, Public Safety, and other governmental agencies and divisions to keep projects on track.•Carefully study development plans, documents, and technical studies to ensure state and local regulations and compliance standards are met. •Analyze residential and… Show more •Lead the execution of discretionary and administrative projects and ensure operations are performed in compliance with established codes and requirements.•Work closely with technical consultants, Orange County Fire Authority, Public Safety, and other governmental agencies and divisions to keep projects on track.•Carefully study development plans, documents, and technical studies to ensure state and local regulations and compliance standards are met. •Analyze residential and commercial applications for compliance with state and local regulations for solar installation, residential remodels, parking lot modifications, commercial/residential electric vehicle charger installations, gas and electrical line installation, landscape improvements, and commercial/residential AC installation.•Efficiently process conditional use permits and minor modifications, compose zoning confirmation letters and use determination letters, interpret and apply the Zoning Ordinance, and evaluate planning issues.•Scope and prioritize activities based on business impact and provide hands-on leadership, methodology, structure, and information necessary to coordinate decision-making and development. •Provide support to the senior staff to ensure complete and accurate research and data entry. Process and analyze plan check fees, review planning applications for completeness, and process for staff review.•Disseminate information on planning standards, codes, and permit requirements to the public and maintain all project reports.•Conduct thorough research and meticulous data management.•Serve as a knowledgeable resource for the public, offering guidance on planning standards, codes, and permit requirements.
