Establishing the right communication with support staff and engineers in the area. Keeping in contact with customers to maintain their confidence in equipment and service. Training customer personnel to properly operate and maintain equipment. Creating and submitting service reports, expense reports, daily time sheets, etc. Making arrangements for travel requirements. Other duties as assigned by Lely Center or as circumstances require, such as: Helping train new service personnel. Recommending equipment changes to engineering. Representing sales, customer service and engineering departments in the field. Assisting engineering with start-up operation and modification of experimental machines. Report customer accidents and any unsafe conditions to customers and internal management. Assisting customer and Sales Department to order replacement parts and see that they are ordered properly.

Adjusting and calibrating equipment, maintaining and repairing factory equipment and other industrial machinery: conveying systems, production machinery and packaging equipment.

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals. Assuring electrical repairs, system maintenance, networking, and troubleshooting.

Installing and maintaining wiring, control and lighting systems. Inspecting electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers. Identifying electrical problems with a variety of testing devices. Repair and replace wiring, equipment or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
