• Oversee IT support for all 50 flagged vessels. • Manage, train and support Fleet IT Engineers. • Euronav IT communications manager.o Research and advice company solutions and implement them on time and cost effective o Managing and improve the Telecommunications on board to meet the new standard in industry • Provide support to the users of the various offices of the Group pertaining to information technology systems, and communication systems/equipment, ensuring system reliability and information accessibility.• Manage help-desk support engineer’s and to support onboard Euronav managed vessels.• secure that users work under ITIL guidelines• Support shore based users relating to communication and information technology systems, both remotely and through physical attendance. • Organize vessel visits and support. • Maintain vessel communication integrity.• Assist with software development and the integration of ERP solutions. • Attend to IT security and backup issues; to maintain utmost confidentiality of data at all times. • Research and develop new technologies with external resources and internal resources (VoIP on board Vessels, Intranet on board, PBX on board and in the office, Improve Internet on board for crew and business, VSat and other technologies). • Intra office security and optimization with Firewalls, VPN, Riverbeds, SSLVPN. • Prepare various relevant reports to management. • Monitor hardware inventory with IT Manager and IT Administrator.
