For almost as long as I can remember I have always been fascinated by the human condition and the different stories and perspectives people share about life. Mine is not a typical career path. My starting point was childhood trauma and I have treated my life as a voyage of exploration, experimentation, learning and discovery - of myself, of other people, and of life. I could have easily ended up a life failure, a social misfit, or even a criminal, but in the 1980's when I was 17 I met an elderly Bangladeshi mystic, Babu Rashid, who getting to know me convinced me that I had a gift to share with others, and he introduced me to Theravada Buddhism, trained me to be a shaman, and encouraged me to study mysticism, the occult, magic, and through deeper esoteric subjects, consciousness. Therefore my path is more a spiritual path than a career path. In the 1990's I emigrated to Poland and found myself the performing arts of Polish alternative theatre (teaching English on the side), writing and directing plays and running hundreds of drama workshops, initially teaching people how to act, but later working with such people as the homeless, people struggling with mental health issues, disabilities, people struggling with addictions and ex-offenders. My work was focussed on social stigma and social exclusion, umbrella terms which arose in the 1990's for a wide variety of social issues. This was when I discovered that drama negated trauma, and I developed Creative Law on the basis of three core principles of existence, and out of this started developing Qultura, which is a new way of developing consciousness and mindfulness through dream weaving. For the past 13-14 years I have been working to develop Qultura as a new mystical community resource in Nine Elms, London. This is my life work. My area of interest is social exclusion, cultural development, development of community, and new approaches to tackle stigma, inequality, poverty and social exclusion.
