My main priority whist working at Ask is delivering the ‘super amici’ service in a busy and demanding setting. This means ensuring that every guest who dines with us has the best experience that they possibly can, taking the time to get to know them and tailoring my service to their needs. Having a good knowledge of the entire menu is essential in doing this as well as knowing what drinks to compliment the food. Despite only having worked there a few weeks I have already had in excess of five letters written about the high quality of the service I had personally delivered. Other duties involve; maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, managing my own personal cash float, taking bookings and managing tables and working behind the bar serving and restocking drinks.As part of my waitress training I have also had full barista training.

Monsoon prides itself on having a high standard of customer service and as a sales assistant my main responsibility was delivering this. To do this I had to be comfortable and confident in approaching and talking to a wide variety of people, I also had to have an extremely strong product knowledge to be able to tailor what I was offering to what was being requested. I was also often in charge of completing the Accessorize moves. We would be sent out guidelines of how the finished walls should look, it was my responsibility to use the stock available to complete this. This often involved a lot of problem solving as the Yeovil store has a very small stock allocation.Other duties; till operation, stock and store maintenance, sales preparation, dealing with returns.
