MICGP, DRCOG, Dip Paeds, European Certificate in Palliative Care, Cert in Practice Management, iCGP Community Gynaecology Certification, MUDr. (Slovakia)I am a vocationally trained GP in Ireland, who successfully completed the UCD Dublin Mid Leinster GP Training scheme in September 2019. I graduated from the Comenius University of Medicine in Slovakia in 2003 with honors. Due to an extensive background in hospital medicine in Ireland since 2006 in various specialities of internal medicine as well as in emergency medicine, I am skilled in various areas of general medicine. My special interest in Medicine was Gastroenterology and I worked as a Gastroenterology Registrar in a Dublin Hospital prior to changing my career to GP. In 2019 I have completed the Point Of Care Ultrasound course for primary care and I am currently improving my skills and knowledge in obstetrics ultrasound. I am a member of ICGP Quality and Safety in Practice committee and I am actively participating in reviewing guides and recommendations for primary care. I am a lead author of the ICGP QRG Diagnosis and Management of Adult Coeliac Disease, published on ICGP website. I became a member of Clinical Advisory group for Coeliac Society of Ireland in February 2021.My passion is also to increase the CPR awareness in our community and in prehospital emergency medicine. I have completed my IHF CPR/CFR Instructor course to be able to educate more people in this area.My research project about increasing CPR awareness in our communities has been published in 10/2020 Forum journal (GP journal). I am also part of the team helping to provide healthcare information to our multilingual communities through Translate Ireland.ie and I have presented numerous videos in Slovak language.
