I am a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, and a part of the College of Computer, Mathematical and Natural Sciences where I received a Bachelors of Science in Physiology and Neurobiology. The world of STEM has interested me for as long as I can remember, the concept of having concrete facts that can prove theories and be used to solve a diverse amount of problems drew me to the realm of science. Not to mention, my infatuation with how organisms and the human body functioned, and how problems can occur also caught my attention. Besides my love for science, I consider myself to also be drawn to places of work or groups where I can interact with people from all walks of life. I believe that building relationships with others that are different than you in some ways and stepping out of your comfort zone to meet and learn about other people is an essential part of life that helps everyone grow in their knowledge about the world and others.
