I am a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.S. in Human Development & Family Studies and B.A. in Psychology, with a certificate in Disability Rights and Services. I am passionate about working with children and hope to work in a career that allows me to support the well-being of children and families. In pursuit of this goal, I have worked with children across a variety of settings to gain an understanding of the diverse strengths and needs of children with unique backgrounds and experiences. To date, I have worked in two licensed early childhood education centers as an Intern and Teacher's Assistant, Children's National Hospital as a Child Life Volunteer, and a respite center for children with a range of disabilities as a Program Volunteer. Currently, I work as a teacher's assistant at the Child Development Lab on campus, and as a program volunteer at Gigi's Playhouse, a Down Syndrome Achievement Center in the Madison area, teaching cooking, nutrition and kitchen safety skills to teens. I am committed to providing quality, responsive, and developmentally appropriate care to the children and families I work with to support their ability to thrive.
