The Netreach Project is a collaborative project facilitated by Changing Lives and SocialFinance aims to support victims (16+) of online harms and those engaging in onlinesex work. Our work and support are primarily focused on online sexualexploitation, image-based sexual abuse, and technology-facilitated sexual violence.Funded by the Home Office under the Preventing Violence Against Women and Girls(VAWG) and Supporting Children (PVSC): What Works Funding (WWF). The project alsosupports our wider Adult Sexual Exploitation (ASE) Partnership and works closely with ourexisting internal exploitation, survival sex, and sex work provisions (GAP/MAP, RedUmbrella, York Women's Centre, IRIS and Amber).

The Netreach team are sat within Changing Lives Exploitation, Survival Sex and Sex Work Projects nationally (GAP/MAP, York Women’s Centre, Amber, Iris and Red Umbrella). The team offer a range of support from brief intervention and advice to 1-1 consistent support. The support we offer is person-centred and led by the individual depending on their support needs and wishes.The primary aims of the role are to minimise health and safety risks, and exposure to sexual exploitation, help increase lifestyle choices, explore ways to help people exit sex work (if desired), improve health and wellbeing and to offer effective opportunities for peer education, peer-led research and peer support.

GAP & MAP supports men and women involved in sex work, survival sex and individuals exposed to sexual exploitation.My job responsibilities included:- Providing a safe, confidential and supportive service for women involved in sex work and those who are vulnerable to sexual exploitation;- Offering practical and emotional support and advocacy so that the women are able to stabilise their situation, and access appropriate services and support;- Supporting individuals with Criminal Justice System proceedings, attending court, ensuring that the people we support are comfortable with the proceedings.

The STAGE project, supported by the National Lottery Community Fund, brings together charities specialised in adult sexual exploitation – Changing Lives, A Way Out, GROW, Together Women, Basis, WomenCentre, Ashiana and the Angelou Centre – to provide trauma-informed support for women who have been groomed for sexual exploitation across the North East and Yorkshire.My job responsibilities included:- Conducting research to build a body of evidence to support the call for dedicated resource,longer-term funding and improved systems for adult survivors of sexual exploitation;- Working with all STAGE Project partners to collect comprehensive and consistent data fromacross our services;- Collecting, interpreting and disseminating external data, evidence and research to inform bothour service and influencing work;- Undertaking analysis of data from a range of sources to support the aims of the STAGEProject.
