I work directly with the Town Administrator, Mayor and Council, and the public in cash receipting of utility payments, voter registration, planning and zoning applications, dog licensing, and water and road issues. I use my accounting skills daily as the accounts payable clerk, payroll clerk, and council clerk. It is my job to make sure all payments are made correctly to vendors, employees, etc. I am also responsible for writing the minutes for all council and/or other meetings as needed, while keeping the Town website and calendar current for all new and updated events and mandated postings. I have a strong background in administrative assistance as I spent 14 years as secretary to the Principal of Cokeville High School and later as Grant Coordinator and Secretary to the Lincoln County School District #2 Curriculum Coordinator as well as 5 years assisting the Sublette County Treasurer in Pinedale, Wyoming. I also carry a strong background in accounting and proof control, as I have worked in positions that require yearly auditor review (district, town, state, and federal), and have been responsible for tracking, documentation, and reporting for the usage of grant funding, etc. I have worked in matters of high confidentiality and know the importance of privacy when dealing with information concerning others. I am very capable of making good decisions with confidence and common sense.
