Stella Spanou was born in Athens on 1985 ,grew up in Amorgos and started to paint from very young age .The two final years of high school she lived in Piraeus where she attended free drawing classes at the workshop of painter Ilias Salaris . On 2002 she entered in DUTH University of Architecture in the town of Xanthi in Greece. In university apart of the architectural design and drawing, which is very obvious in her way of painting , she attended 3 years of art lessons by the painters Angeliki Mandrali and Nikos Thomas . She graduated on 2008 and worked for 4 years in a technical office in Amorgos until 2012 ,when she resigned in order to follow her love for painting.
