Source the potential suppliers, new ideas and patented products to support the development of new products to MIBRO customers.Ensure supplier development programs are appropriate and pursue supplier agreements, partnerships and other strategic supplier relationships. Promotes the MIBRO’s image with suppliers and works to achieve the best value for purchasing spends.Maintain strong product and material knowledge of hardware area and industrial trend.Prepare product development monthly report to senior management team.Participate in the senior management team Monthly Meeting to represent department projects and status..Develop strong network with overseas manufactures, trading companies, government customs, logistic freight forwarders, design houses, inspection firms and testing labs.

The product Development Manager is the key liaison between MIBRO and MIBRO suppliers, facilitating the development of new products and improvements to existing products. Provide internal departments information about suppliers and works with them to bring new product ideas and designs to a manufactured product. Highlights responsibilities were:Co-ordinate the sourcing and introduction of new MIBRO products, new product categories and product improvements. Work closely with Sales people to prepare samples for the mock ups, shows, sales meeting and etc; source customer’s specified products; develop new displays, new merchandising system, new environment friendly package opinions and all other customers’ requirements.Oversee costing on all products; provide opinions for cost reduction and shortening supply chain to maximize profit.Direct activities of Quality Control technicians to solve all product quality issues with suppliers. Supervise QC to maintain accurate product specifications. Maintain accurate package specifications for all MIBRO suppliers.
