About Stella Young
I have been working with On the Ground Global since I was 10-years-old. I first joined the organization on their ultra-athletic event called Run Across Ethiopia. The purpose of this event was to raise money to build schools in coffee-growing communities. The event was so successful that we built three schools, latrines, and a library. Since then, I have worked with the organization primarily on their gender equity work in the Democratic Republic of Congo. In addition to a project I started myself which funded tuition for orphans in the DRC.
