Hello! My name is Stella Mrowicki. I am a recording engineer, producer, and singer-songwriter located in the Southern Jersey/ Philadelphia area. In 2016, I received my Associates degree in Music Technology from Brookdale Community College. In 2020, I continued my education at Rowan University, where I was employed by the Music Industry department as a Studio Technician and Concert/ Event Recorder and quickly became a staple to the faculty. Since, I have worked both independently and in affiliation with a number of studios on recording projects including Cambridge Recording Studio in Philadelphia and Blue Light Digital Sound in Blackwood, Trenton and Mount Holly. Currently, I am working with Blue Light Digital Sound to facilitate recording and post production projects as well as instructing students in music production and composition. In addition to my production work at our studios, I oversee part of the Blue Light Music Program which provides a music and media program for developmentally challenged students. I also work part time in the Rowan University Music Department as an Audio Technician facilitating recording and live streaming of events.In my free time, I work independently on my own music, for which I have been acknowledged in numerous publications such as Asbury Park Press, NJ.com, and the Aquarian Magazine. In 2019, I was named "Songwriter of the Year" from NJ Stage Magazine and became the youngest to receive the accolade (at age 20). I have shared stages and bills with iconic artists like John Prine, Steve Earl, Bobby Bandiera, John Eddie and more.
