Identify gaps and double functions in the current portfolio. I help defined how the Innovation Process should be and was a huge part of the idea maturation setup. Organizational changes together with change in strategy, forced my role to evolve, were after I managed multiple innovation projects with different focuses. My Results: I opened up communication and collaboration across borders and entities. Provided data and facts compared to gut feelings or religion. I facilitated the first Global Product Program, getting every entity to accept that program. I revolutionized the way to think process and got the different entities to agree on standardization of the processes. While developing a tool that helps the sales process, functions as a product data base and help identify projects with the same type of products. I managed all R&D projects and had one technical lead on one customer project. My Results: I redesigned the key main machine of projects covering 70% of company revenue. I increased the capacity with 8-12%. I came up with a method, to understand and document what happed inside the chamber. Leading to a product waste reduction of approx. 80% while also optimizing the process with up to 8%. After 6 months I had to help the project department due to high workload. From that point on I worked as Lead Project Engineer a technical project manager, supporting the commercial project managers. We validated 3D CAD layouts, did technical specifications and CAD drawings, platform constructions logistics and purchase. I was the mentor and unformal leader of a group of 5 project engineers / designers while also doing project management. My Results: I mentored 5 project engineers and designers. I discovered a loophole in the quoting system, that was being abused by sales department. After fixing the error, the contribution margin rose in avg. 3.5 percent points. I also did risk assessment and documentation on a new size mixer, that was approved by German authorities. Show less
