I am currently a Ph.D. student at Georgia Tech, focusing on Learning Science and Technologies. My research interests include exploring the advantages of using immersive technologies in education, simulation development, UX/UI, and studying human perception in virtual environments compared to the real world. I work as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Technology-Integrated Learning Environments (Tiles Lab), which is dedicated to deepening theoretical knowledge of immersive 3D experiences through multidisciplinary collaborative projects. Before starting my doctoral studies, I completed my bachelor's degree at Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM) in 2018. During my undergraduate years, I was awarded a scholarship from the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC) to study at the University of Kansas (KU) for a year. After graduation, I worked as a licensed architect in Brazil for two years.
