As a fashion designer for PowerPlay, I had the opportunity to partner with Phoenix Children's Hospital to bring a patient's dream costume to life. My role involved meeting with the client to take measurements and present proposed sketches. I drafted slopers and developed custom patterns for each piece, ensuring that every detail was considered. I also created muslin mockups for client fittings, allowing me to make necessary adjustments and ensure that the final product would meet their expectations. The costume was then displayed in the PowerPlay fashion show in April in front of a large audience and peers.
