Managed USAID-funded project portfolio of USD 27 million.Coordinated and supervised research portfolio of global and national implementing partners (3 universities, 4 irrigation equipment companies, 5 international research organizations). Partnered with private sector to leverage $900,000+ used to help small farmers access solar powered pumps. Facilitated the creation of evidence-based guidelines, tools, and videos for building awareness of small-scale irrigation that are now being used by the World Bank and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.Conducted independent research in Ghana on multiple-use water services, household water security, and water and natural resource management.

Managed USDA project portfolio of USD 15 million.Recruited and managed technical experts from other agencies within USDA to provide technical assistance. Collaborated with 11 Pakistani institutions to bring 13 main waters saving technologies and practices to nearly 18,000 people. Facilitated a soil fertility and improvement program that brought 9 technologies and practices to a total of 6,227 Pakistani farmers, ag. professionals and service providers.Coordinated the Pakistan Water Dialogue a project focused on fostering technical dialogue on water for agriculture between experts in the U.S. with those in Pakistan.Managed field operations functions and activities and coordinated operational readiness and resources for 30 technical USDA experts embedded within provincial reconstruction teams in Afghanistan.

Identified issues, analyzed findings, and formulated strategies for agricultural extension programs in Iraq. Conducted independent research on the sustainability of 8 USAID-supported Coffee Cooperatives in Rwanda.

Worked with stakeholder-based committees to direct agricultural programs supporting 4-H, youth development, and rural health. Designed and led an international training program on HIV for 4 nurses from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
