The Engineering Education Scheme Wales (EESW) is a non-profit, educational charity which has been in existence since 1989.We run schemes across Wales to inspire and motivate young people to choose a career in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).We run numerous activities, providing students with the opportunity to gain practical experience working with industries, businesses and higher education. Activities include;F1 in Schools (Wales)Girls into EngineeringEESW Sixth Form ProjectIntroduction to Engineering (i2E)Headstart CymruThese strands will benefit students from ages 12 to 19 of all abilities, and the aim is to further their knowledge and experience of practical STEM. The strands of the project are designed to provide a progression of innovative technological and engineering activities to contextualise and improve skills in STEM.
