LED Lighting (2009-2017):• InGaN LED chip development: Fabrication, characterization, optical / electrical efficiency optimization, optimization for system performance, cost down.• Developed multiple phosphor integration technologies, with emphasis on process development, equipment design, materials development, and color yield. • Optical modeling of LED components including accurate physical models of chip and phosphor.• Modeling of chip light extraction in diffractive optics regime• Physics based modeling of carrier transport, band structure, and quantum mechanical effects for optimization of epi structure.• Testing: Wafer / panel auto probing, optical characterization.• Reliability testing of chips and components.
