I was the Chief Operating Officer at Ecowat for about 5 years. Ecowat was a spinout from the research organization SINTEF, and was developing game-changing water treatment technologies for the oil and gas industry. I was responsible for managing the company's day-to-day activities and R&D operations, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board.

I was the first employee at the start-up Ecowat in 2007. My first position was Project Director, responsible for the company’s ongoing R&D projects. My largest project was a EUR 1,5 million prototype development project in cooperation with Norwegian oil company Statoil and SINTEF Petroleum Research.

From 2006 to 2007 I was hired out from Prosessutvikling to eMedika part time as General manager. eMedika was the developer and vendor of a internet-based e-learning tool customized for the health care industry. I was managing the system development and testing, and responsible for the market introduction of the system. My crew and I implemented the system.
