The majority of our clients were Norwegian municipality and the tasks were related to design and planning of water distribution and wastewater transportation and logistic systems, design of water and wastewater treatment plants, strategic planning, preparation of quality control systems and project management. I typically followed the client from feasibility studies, pre-engineering, design and contracting, through procurement, construction and commissioning. Among my largest projects were Levanger RA, the design and construction of a wastewater treatment facility for 18.000 population equivalents in the city of Levanger, where I was the assistant design and construction manager.I worked with water distribution pipeline hydraulic modelling design. The models were used for simulation of extreme situation for risk assesment as well as for long-term planning and development of the municipal drinking water distribution networks. The projects also included training of municipal employees in the use and maintenance of the system during commissioning. I was responsible for developing computerized quality management systems for more than 10 Norwegian municipalities including Svalbard Samfunnsdrift in Longyearbyen, and was managing the development of several Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems programmed in .NET.
