Responsible for overseeing the international tax input on the group’s transactions including:- the tax lead into the group’s investment into third party managed real estate related funds and joint venture platforms, including tax diligence, structuring, modelling and SPA negotiations. Responsibilities include managing the ongoing tax compliance and risks relating to these investments.- developing the tax function at the commonly owned business which invests in start-ups - primarily the Agri and Food Safety sector. Includes planning the strategy around investment structures for an expanding international business and introducing new processes to manage inherent tax compliance and process risks within a fast growing entrepreneurial environment.- stakeholder management to shape tax policy globally across the business and ensure a shared vision for the management of taxes internationally, including transfer pricing.
