Writing for a wedding publication is as fun as it sounds, and I love researching the features that we run in our quarterly magazine.Duties include: Researching and writing around 17-20 one to six page features for each quarterly magazine. This also includes speaking with advertisers, sourcing real life stories and couples, sourcing and editing relevant.

• As digital editor at Scottish Wedding Directory, I'm responsible for the running of scottishweddingdirectory.co.uk. Duties include:
• Creating an engaging digital strategy for the website to increase traffic
• Making sure content is optimised for SEO or creating content around SEO keywords
• Creating and managing our social media feeds, including overseeing Facebook Live projects
• Editing the work of my editorial team and, of course, creating content myself
• Working with our print editor to ensure that there’s a synergy between the print and digital mediums

Using back of site software Kryptronic to write copy for the website using keywords and SEO. Constructing copy that reads well, but also benefits the site in terms of SEO.Using Google tools to find the most valuable words for meta-tagging purposes.Using Photoshop to create suitable pictures for the website.Researching suitable books to sell on the website.
