I am game maker, educator, writer, and engineer who looks for every opportunity to blend all these aspects in my work.I am the founder/owner of TTRPGkids, a web resource with 400+ articles on youth tabletop RPGs! I've also self-published over 50 digital TTRPG titles, crowdfunded 3 of my own games/books for physical print, and won an ENnie for best online content with my website in 2023.In addition to my own projects, I also lend my advice to other creators through Tattered Bear, an all-ages TTRPG consultation service geared at helping the indie self-publishing gaming community get their work out and into the world. At Tattered Bear, I am the team's Project Manager and Marketing Lead, focusing on support for scheduling, setting milestones, gaguing capacity for both the team and our clients, and helping our work be known. I have also independantly guest written, playtested, and/or consulted on games like Overisles from Hatchlings Games, Adventures in ADHD from Awfully Queer Heroes, Wyrmlings from Lone Colossus Games, Color My Quest: Dungeon Run Adventures by Dice Up Games, and many more. Prior and in parallel to getting into the world of tabletop RPGs, I was an airbag and crash test engineer and an adjunct engineering professor, giving me the opportunity to explore hands-on projects, improve vehicle safety, and be able to teach othes about my experiences while exercising key skills (like project management best practices and management of large budgets/testing protocols) that I've been able to apply to my recent business endeavors. Being able to blend my engineering and teaching experiences into the games that I'm making now has been such a joy to share with others, and I'm eager for more opportunities to do so.Currently, I am looking to take on more TTRPG adventures, from guest writing and playtesting to project management and consultation, so I can share my XP and work with others in creating some amazing new games for all-ages to enjoy together.
