My Name is Stephanie Kircos. I am currently a second-year Psychology student at Brock University with a goal of becoming a behavioural consultant. I am searching for an internship that will allow me to apply all the knowledge I have gained thus far and also expand my knowledge and understanding in the field of psychology. I have had the chance to work in a couple very different settings. I worked in retail at SAIL for just over a year, where I sold outdoor sporting gear. I have worked as a skating instructor for the Power Skating Skills School for 4 years, where I teach children proper skating techniques. Alongside coaching skating, I also work at the Meridian Centre, where I do ice maintenance and arena preparation for the Niagara Ice Dog games and concerts.I have been recognized as an athlete since a very young age. I would play any sport that was available to me. I have participated in rep hockey all my life, competing in many championships and tournaments. Applying my sports-related knowledge to my academics and potential professions has been a great experience. While playing competitive sports, I developed leadership, determination, a strong work ethic, and good cooperation, making me the dependable student and employee that I am today.
