I am the sole Nurse working in the clinic providing primary care and management of chronic health conditions. This role has presented me the opportunity to transfer skills developed in the acute care setting to enhance the care of patients with chronic conditions. Daily duties include immunisations, wound care, chronic disease management and patient education. Other duties include stock management, vaccine ordering and correct storage and the day to day running of the clinic.

Senior Registered nurse in a 48 bedded Acute Stroke unit providing 24/7 Emergency Iv thrombolysis and clot retrieval. Experience in managing the unit, staff and patients to provide safe, effective evidence based care. Duties included CNS observations, trache care, pre and post op care, liaising with the multidisciplinary team, discharge planning and daily care of acutely unwell patients.
