Steph has over 20 years experience. He has considerable international experience, having held senior positions in project engineering and project management and OH&S on infrastructure and engineering projects throughout Australia, China and Taiwan. Throughout this project, the workers he oversaw completed over 1,000,000 man hours and 90,000 tonnes of steel erection without a lost time incident.After returning home to Australia he has been heavily involved in design and construct project management in central west NSW based in Orange, leading the team to design and build a $4M facility for Sandvik mining and construction AustraliaSteph is also a preferred contractor for Nestle Purina, Blayney NSW and is starting his second project for them in August 2013

Project Manager - World Expo Ceremony Staging, ShanghaiSerious Staging Feb 2010 - Jun 2010Shanghai, Hung-Pu River• Reporting directly to the project director, Mr John Binks, in all aspects of this technically challenging project.• Project Manager of the construction of the largest LED screen ever constructed using Layher scaffold on a wharf, Hung Pu River, Shanghai. The work was completed to a very tight deadline, with many local logistic and compliance issues.• Liaise with the Construction Engineers on construction risk management, construction site safety and compliance with construction safety program to ensure the site was adequate for the structure, then make site good for work to commence.• Site Supervisor responsible for project implementation and quality assurance of construction management program by 50 scaffolders, 12 riggers and 60 workers erecting the LED screens with two 50 T crawler cranes.• Project Management of safety standards and audit procedures on a high risk site that included uneven surfaces and water hazards resulting in zero man hours lost, and no recordable injury’s. • Attend tri weekly planning meetings with the producers to monitor and adjust project implementation.• 20 off 40'' containers of Layher used to create the structure that supported approximately 250,000 LED pixels.• All work done from a 75 m * 16 m barge, sourced locally, with a daily logistics cycle time.• Supply chain co-ordination and planning for loading of materials on to barge to ensure consistent supply of materials to the construction site.• Liaise with the Expo appointed Construction Engineer on all aspects of the structure to authorise sign off.• Other logistics management as required, such as design and construction of system to release and return 6000 off 500mm diameter LED balls, and supervise 75 construction contractors and workers.• Given Cultural Attaché role by the CEO to co-ordinate off site activities for the120 strong team. -
