I have a long history of supporting adults with dual diagnosis's of mental health and learning disabilities. At age 18 I enrolled in the University of the West of England and completed my Adult Nursing qualification. Since this time I have worked in a variety of settings as a nurse, including, A&E, SCBU, Ophthalmology, District Nursing and Palliative Care and finally Public Health. In 2010 I was awardees a 2:1 in my Public Health degree at UWE, Bristol, and became a Health Visitor, where my job priorities were, Health surveillance, holistic family focussed assessments and an active member of safeguarding and GP liaison team.My current role allows me to amalgamate all of my skills with emergency treatment, see and treat and health surveillance.
