Engaging and committed Singing Teacher, with 15 years experience teaching children andadults of all abilities, on a one-to-one basis.I am passionate about inspiring a love of singing, and all the benefits it brings - physically, mentally and socially. My focus has always been to encourage confidence and nurture the unique individual voice of each student, bringing out the very best that they can be. I love to champion budding singers and songwriters, those who have come back to it after a long break, and professionals who need technique reminding and assurance. I am proud of all my students and find their "eureka!" moments (when something finally clicks and they can do it) incredibly rewarding.As an active Singer, I have held residencies at prestigious London institutions, such as The Ned, The MayFair and Hilton Park Lane, as well as performing for private and corporate events in London, the UK and abroad. A notable moment was performing as Singer/Pianist for the Wella International Hair Awards in Berlin in front of 2.5 thousand people. Session work has included being the Guide Vocalist for The Military Wives Choir (Gareth Malone), the film "Abominable" (Dreamworks) and a long-running TV commercial in the US for Hershey's (for which I also co-wrote the music.)As an Artist, I released a self-funded solo album in 2019, entitled "We're Not Meant To Do This Alone,"with 50% of proceeds going to Rethink Mental Illness. I implemented a successful crowdfunding campaign for a music video accompanying the first single release of the album (Stages) which exceeded its target. I continue to write and collaborate with other Artists, and recently performed new material at the iconic Troubadour and Half Moon, Putney.
