Since 2017, I have been tutoring many students mainly in English and French. I tutor primary school and high school students.

In 2014, I became a Youth Ambassador for McAuley Community Services for Women - a worthy organisation supporting women and children impacted by domestic violence. I was fortunate to fundraise for this organisation through activities at Carey Baptist Grammar school such as a Movie Nights to which Carey families attended, raising almost $900. In October 2015, I represented Carey at the McAuley Annual General Meeting and was fortunate to be presented with a Social Justice Youth Ambassador certificate. In 2016, I was provided with the opportunity to continue my commitment to McAuley through my House Chapel Service. I was able to arrange Penny Underwood - the media spokeswoman from McAuley - to share the courage displayed by women and children who are impacted by domestic violence. Prior to the Chapel Service, I was fortunate to raise awareness and fundraise through a ‘Sheet Drive’. Each student donated new bed linen sets for the McAuley Safe Houses. As each woman (and child/children) moves from the Safe House into her new life, she is able to take the sheets she has been using with her. Thus, McAuley is always in need of new bed linen. I wanted our donation to be directly beneficial to the women and children, but also significant to the students who may not consider the luxury of having clean sheets on their bed. The response from Gadsden House was outstanding, donating in excess of 110 sets of bed linen, and raising approximately $400 dollars from the bake sale. The relationship I built with the McAuley Community Services for Women organisation taught me to be grateful for my situation in life.
