- Conduct one-on-one career advising in course selection, resume and cover letter critiquing and career planning to prepare students for graduation and post-secondary options.- Provide career exploration, internships and job search strategies and placements for students to gain experiential learning opportunities.- Support student Apprentices to explore trades by developing effective working relationships with industries who offer sponsorships, training and work experience. - Collaborate with the Industry Training Authority (ITA) to promote and place students in Youth Work and Train In Trades programs.- Create and conduct career development presentations highlighting employment trends, hiring practices and current labour markets to students, staff, parents and community.
