I am a student at the University of Hartford's Barney School of Business, majoring in accounting. As someone with a high drive to succeed in all areas of life, I go above and beyond to ensure that I achieve the best outcomes I can have. I have had such a drive for the entirety of my life; without it, I would never be able to find myself in the spot I am grateful to be in today. I have worked in several diverse jobs, from operating a register at Lake Compounce Amusement Park to my current position as a package handler in the fast-paced environment of FedEx Ground. Through each of these jobs, I have seen my passion for business rise even more as I gain valuable knowledge to guide me on my ever-continuing journey.Since joining the University of Hartford, that aforementioned drive has only continued to grow significantly. As a member of multiple clubs, I am a firm believer that challenges serve as opportunities with many benefits. Chief among these clubs is Hartford's Collegiate DECA program, where I can translate my knowledge and passion for business onto a national stage. Within DECA, I specialize in accounting, a position that allows me to understand how the language of business works and to be able to solve related problems in my future endeavors. I am incredibly grateful for all of the valuable connections I have made through DECA, and I look forward to see where the program takes me as I start my third year of college.
