Prof. Dr. Stephan Böhm is an Associate Professor of Diversity Management and Leadership at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. He also serves as the Director of the Center for Disability and Integration at the University of St. Gallen (CDI-HSG).His research focuses on leadership, Human Resource management, diversity as well as change management. He has a special interest in the vocational inclusion of employees with disabilities, health-focused leadership, as well as the management of digitalization and demographic change.Stephan has published in top-tier management journals including The Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, The Leadership Quarterly, Journal of Management Studies and Journal of Organizational Behavior. He regularly presents at international scientific conferences and has been an invited key-note speaker at many large-scale congresses and company events.He has won numerous prizes for his scientific contribution including the Journal of Organizational Behavior Best Paper Award, the Swiss Public Health Award, the Vontobel Award for Research on Aging, the Bright Idea Research Award, the University of St. Gallen Impact Award (twice), as well as the Academy of Management's Saroj Parasuraman Award for the Outstanding Publication on Gender and Diversity.Stephan is teaching and consulting internationally in numerous organizations based on his expertise in diversity and change management, Human Resources and leadership. He has held workshops on topics such as managing the digital transformation, fostering diversity and introducing inclusive HR systems, preventing bias, developing healthy leadership behaviors, as well as preventing psychological distress in organizations.
