Within predefined risk limits, Treasury Centers trades for their own account in currencies and fixed income securities. It also had an active Global Financial Consulting unit (more than 50 professionals) offering service both to ABB Companies and external customers. The Business Area had Treasury Centers in 14 countries and had around 300 employees.
