I completed two foundation years (propedeuses) at The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS): one in Management, Economics, and Law (MER) in 1998, and another in Information Services and Management (IDM) in 2004. These foundational years gave me the knowledge and skills that laid the groundwork for my career in information management and digital archiving.I further developed my expertise through specialized training, including the SOD 1 program and the LARM diploma in record management, as well as certifications such as ISO 27001. Currently, I am working towards my EXIN BiSL certification to expand my knowledge in business information management.In my professional career, I began in the Information Services Department at the Dutch House of Representatives (Tweede Kamer), where I gained valuable experience supporting end-users, managing information systems, and performing parliamentary library tasks. I then joined the Archive and Collection Team (TAC), where I took responsibility for processing, archiving, enriching, and making documents accessible, while also providing support to users at the service desk.In addition, I have more than 8 years of experience with document management systems, including 4 years as a key user and application administrator for MAIS-Flexis, a system used for document management and archiving within the organization. This role involved ensuring proper use of the system, troubleshooting issues, and providing training to users.With this broad expertise, I focus on improving accuracy, accessibility, and efficiency in managing and making information accessible, always with the aim of aligning processes with organizational goals and meeting the needs of users.
